You can send your card in several ways. The fastest is to let the other person scan the QR code on your phone.
#QR code
- Open the Cards tab. The QR code is right on your card.
- The other person points their phone camera at it.
- Your card opens on their phone. They do not need the Swopi app.
#More ways to share
Tap the QR code or More ways to share. The app turns up the screen brightness so the QR code is easy to read. Here you find:
- Save to their contacts: the QR code then saves your contact straight to their phone. It works without internet.
- Share Your Card, Copy Card Link, and sharing by text message and email.
- Sharing on LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp and X. On iPhone you may also see NameDrop.
- Save QR Code to Photos.
Do you have more than one card? Tap the card name at the top and pick the card you want to share.
#NFC
Do you have a Swopi card or tag with NFC? Once it is activated, hold it near the other person's phone and your card opens. See Activating NFC.
#Apple and Google Wallet
- In the share panel, tap Add Card to Wallet. Or tap the three dots on your card and pick Add Card to Wallet.
- Confirm in Wallet.
Your QR code is then close at hand, even without opening the app. Read more in Your card in Wallet.
#Custom QR code From Pro
To change the color and logo of your QR code, tap Customize QR Code in the share panel. Read more in QR code.
You can also keep your QR code on your phone's home screen. See Widget and Dynamic Island.
