When someone scans your QR code or taps their phone on your Swopi card, your card opens in their web browser. They do not need an app or an account.
#What is on your card
- Your photo, name and bio.
- Your job title, company and location, depending on the card layout you chose.
- A big Save Contact button.
- Your links, for example phone, email, LinkedIn or website.
Each card has its own address, like swopi.co/your-name. You can also send it as a normal link.
#Save Contact
When the visitor taps Save Contact, their phone offers to save your details to their contacts. They confirm it and they are done. Nobody has to type anything.
If you turned on the Lead capture form, the visitor can also send you their own contact.
#Which language
Buttons and labels on your card show in the language of the visitor's phone. Text you wrote yourself, like your bio or link names, stays exactly as you wrote it.
#Swopi brand
On the Free plan, there is a small Swopi badge at the bottom of your card with the text "I want a card like this". To hide it, see A card without the Swopi logo.
#See it yourself
- Open the Swopi app.
- On the Cards tab, tap Preview.
Or open your swopi.co/your-name address in a browser. You will see your card the same way others do.
To change how your card looks, see Edit your card.
